The KiCKS Scholarship program was developed to lower the cost of recreational opportunities for
children whose families have demonstrated a financial need. Applications are accepted and reviewed
quarterly:
a. July 15-Aug 15 for classes beginning September-November
b. Oct 15-Nov 15 for classes beginning December-February
c. Jan 15-Feb 15 for classes beginning March-May
d. Apr 15-May 15 for classes beginning June-August

• Scholarship amounts are based on family size and total family income. Families are defined as
parent(s)/guardian(s) and dependents living at the same address. Employers may be contacted to
verify income declared on application.

• Completing a Youth Athletic Scholarship application DOES NOT register a child for a program. You
will be required to complete a separate registration form for the activities in which you are interested
in having your child participate.

• Participants are required to attend a minimum of 75% of scheduled practices, lessons, or games.
Failure to meet attendance requirements and/or overdue payments may result in non-renewal of the
scholarship. Please note that transportation is not provided.

• KiCKS funding is dependent on the generosity of donors in our community. Therefore, the number of
scholarships available each quarter may vary based on our resources.
Confidentiality - KiCKS will use the information on the application to decide if your child qualifies to
receive a scholarship for eligible activities. Confidentiality will be maintained at all times. Applicants are
guaranteed that personal finances will not be disclosed outside of the application committee.
